Millions of school children and adults who have gone before you would answer that question with an emphatic "YES ! It
is VERY difficult to learn a foreign language!" Our answer, however, is a conditional "No!" If the language is
presented in a natural and rational system, emulating the means by which you learned your native language,
and you make a reasonable effort to cooperate with the ULAT system, we can essentially guarantee success.
How can we make such a bold assertion ? The answer is very simple. Do you understand what you are
reading at this very moment. Can you tell me aloud what you are doing right now? Of course, you can! You have, therefore, already learned a language. Congratulations!
For this reason, learning another language should be a sure thing. You have an excellent track record. You already speak, understand, read and write English with total fluency.
All that remains for us to do, therefore, in presenting you with a second language, is to imitate the way in which you successfully
learned your first or native language.
